halibrand two speed rear end??

    this might be a stupid question but im stumped and cant find much on the halibrand two speed rear end... what did they come in? and how good are they? i have been readin an old hot rod forum and it talks very very little on wat this is im having trouble finding info on it or how it works it. thanks for lookin and any info on this would be great thanks guys

    I'm not aware of Halibrand doing a two speed rear end, but they did several Champ type quick changes with an "in and out box" in the lower shaft. They all had a lever to control it on the p***enger side of the casting. Could this be what you are refering to? I have heard people mistakenly call them a two speed before.
