So I got these skirts that were supposedly off of a 51 chevy. They really don't fit at all. Was I sold a set of skirts for a 49-50 instead of a 51-52? Any help would be appreciated. Pics of the attempted installation are below.

Bought them off a HAMBer. I just want to be told that they're the wrong ones and that I'm not missing a seal or something that goes around them.

  5. those arent 50-51 they have abig bolt in the middle of them to attach to the quarter

and yes they are missing a seal but the seal isnt that thick

sell them and buy the right ones or make a trade with someone who did the oppisite of what you did

those kinda look like 53-54 skirts to me from the pics

A photo of the whole skirt and one of the back side might help someone id them.

    Along with a few measurements.

agreed; I have a 52 and even without the seal there is not a huge gap. Try Vintage Chevrolet. Ask for Cal.
