will a 1970 mustang fuel sending unit work on my 55-59 chevy truck gauge?

did someone use a 70 mustang gas tank on a 55-59 chevy truck? what kind of sending unit did u use that works with the OG gauge.

 

You will have to use a sending unit that has the same ohms as your pick up gauge. 30 ohms is your gauge. Might find a universal unit that will fit the tank and puts out 30ohms.
