here you go. needs some work here and there but its a good daily driver. should either have astros or chrome reverse here in a couple weeks or less. if anyone wants to photoshop by all means please do. the paint is faded...its a much more rich blue/green metallic. im going to get it paint matched and then add a flake. flake white top as well.
Good deal. I like those Ford fastbacks n that color...glad to hear you're keeping it. Kool "parking brake" there
yeah my e-brake just took a **** yesterday and i dont want to rely on only the 'park' function. oh and it has 4 inch blocks out back with the tow springs removed. going to cut the coils up front and bag the rear soon. im almost getting tired of s****ing on everything...including entering and exiting my driveway, actually no way i love it. the frame is 2 1/2 inches off the ground and speed bumps are now avoided at all costs. ive looked all over and cant seem to find one of these bagged. anyone seen one? ive been talked out of using the main leaf for axle location..so what would you all put in instead? 4, 3, 2 link? i was talking to a guy who owns a custom shop and bags a ton of cars, including the worlds first bagged Magnum. he said i could use the existing forward leaf mounts and 2 link it. im not really clear on how this would work. would it be like using ladder bars and then a panhard bar? he was also describing using two bars that mount forward on the frame..near the front leaf mounts and then cross like an x and fasten to the axle. whats that called? thanks
its got a hi-po '68 360 i guess, check a couple numbers and thats what it told me. the guy i got it from has the original 352 with performance work done i just need to go pick that up and finish its rebuild.
Check out this Mays Rod & Custom. They install a Air Ride Tech. 4 bar in a galaxie. It uses the spring mounts for the lower bars and a bolt-in crossmember for the top. They use the shockwaves which I know are expensive. Check out their website. I imagine you could use regular bags and shave off a couple hundred bucks, or just look at the pictures andmake your own
Tough looking car dude, I like it. Low is something I still need to get my car, I've got 3 inch blocks in the back on mine, but the 15's I'm running make it sit higher. I'll probably through the 14's back on soon. Just came across some cash, so hopefully we'll see some work done on this car in a while....
not May, September, sorry. Heres the site too http://ridetech.com/ I looked at the air bar system in the magazine and they dont show a price for it yet, but the other applications are going for $2000, american money. Yikes
Kojack, how much frame clearance do you have with 3inch blocks? You have any side shots so I can get an idea how low it is?
Nice! Keeping that color combination and add flake gonna make it look great! And with Astros or reverse I'm sure it will be a sweet driver, lookin forward to see more of it.
