PPG, Dry time ?

How much dry time is needed between coats with PPG , JAU , Acrylic urethane ? Temp. will be about 75 degrees.

Is humidity a factor ?

The last PPG single stage I sprayed had a flash time of 15 Minutes between coats...

 

Answered the same question yesterday:

PPG product sheet JAU Direct Gloss Acrylic Urethane

Dry times between coats
5 - 10 minutes at 70ºF (21ºC)
Air dry
Dust: 45 min
Tack:3 to 5 hours
Tape: 12 hours
Dry:16 hours at 70ºF (21ºC) to polish and put into service
Clear: 4-6 hours

Force dry
30 minutes at 140ºF (60ºC), wait 8 hours to
polish and put into service.
IR 10 - 15 minutes

 

Dry times between coats
5 - 10 minutes at 70ºF (21ºC)

As long as the Humidity is not above 65% (as a rule of thumb).

If the Humidity is higher than 65%, give the flash time an extra 5 -10 minutes.

You are still well within the window.
