Customs wheel spats/skirts

    Ok guys i am currently working an a hudson mild custom and i would like to add some rear wheel skirts. I am after any pics of these as on any car to get some idea as to wich way build and what style would suit the hudson.Oreven a link to a site would be good.

    i think your gonna have to build/make your own,in all my pictures of 48-52 stepdowns only 2 of them have aftermarket looking skirts,---chuck
    {these are pix i swiped off the net over the years}
    the bronze one was done by Smooth's customs,{member here-i think?}

  6. Man, Hudson built cars from 1909-1957. The '09 skirts (ha!) won't fit the '57 and many other combos in the middle. You gotta tell us a year.

    Look up a set of the 50's "Teardrop Bubble Skirts", and modify to fit.... The possibilities are endless......

    Hi guys. Thanks for the replies. Oldgrezmonke thanks for the hud pics i will ad them to my collection . Damagedduck i have been to that site and others nothing there i like. I have the tools , time & nowhow to make my own.I am looking for insperation on what style to go with.The car is a 1950 pacemaker. Now while i am the one building the wife is the one that wanted this car and has most of the say as to what goes in to it ,I just have to make it work. THE green hud is what we are starting with. The merc is basicly the colour scheem, along with the buick side trim.
