Am using 2pc mallory cap help

Having problem with the ends of non real wire plug wire ends burning off

using a msd box so need these type wires

 

Get some real plug wires..

 

Although the caps are made for solid wires the use of carbon wires will work IF you cut the wire clean and push it down really good on the pins. Then you got to keep the voltage down to prevent flashing and burning the tips off. Keep plug gap where the factory wanted it and make sure the carb ( or carbs ) are not running lean ( causes high voltage ) ........

I use Mallory wires w/ 2 piece cap and have had no problems. Put on a Mallory Hi Fire ign. last year and no problems.
