Long term sideliner new poster. Was told to introduce myself or face the wrath of the board. Been in/out So Cal 20 years this month (Happy Anniversary, In&Out reference intended). Born here but raised in Rhode Island. Grew up wrenching on my Dad's rubbish trucks and working on the family antiques, mainly Dodge, Desoto, Hudsons. Broke out on my own in 1980 to join the Navy as a Seabee CM and haven't been back but to visit. Still wrench when I can find the time but manage a shop now. Grew up listening to the 1963 Winternationals on an old record player and finally went to my first in 1992. I enjoy wrenching, researching automobilia, drinking Jack and long naps on the beach at Hulopoe Bay, Lanai. Hawaii. ALOHA to all. Photo avatar and attached is my Grandpa's 1935 Ford Sedan Delivery used at his printing shop West Warwick, RI. Second one is of one I found (and missed) here is Cali.
Welcome from the Maine coast.....I used to live in Warwick Neck, worked as a kid at Rocky Point Amusement Park worked in the food concession in 1971. All the clam cakes and soda you could eat......I'll tell you that you only indulge like that one time! Barf city!
Hey Sumfuncomet, Graduated from Hendricken right down the street in 1980. Miss the chowda' & claam cakes alot. Family still in the area, lots of places claim to be as good but just not the same unless you're on the water. Thanks for the shout and keep in touch.

Welcome from The Low Desert. Rhode Island huh! Still remember riding those old Camelback Buses through East Warwick at midnight on the way back to Quonset Point Naval Air Station 1962-65.
