    HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
I ordered wheels for my hotrod

Center Line Wheels 9152154545 - Center Line Wheels Legend Series Retro Polished Wheels

They are centerline wheels, purchased through Summit Racing.
It was over $2000 for the pair!! and they look like ****. There were many scratches, gouges and the worst aluminum polishing job that i have ever seen.
I own a auto repair shop, and ordered them through the business, i expect better service and quality control. I was shocked by the horrible customer service that centerline gave me. The first response i got was "There is nothing we can do for you" and told me that i should have paid for the show polish. **THERE IS NO OPTION WHEN ORDERING THEM FOR A SHOW POLISH**. After 2 more times calling, talking to management and getting Summit racing to call on my behalf, they finally agreed to repolish. I was told that they would look at them once they received them, call me and figure out a solution. NO CALLS....they sent em back 2 weeks later (yes they were re-polished) and they still look like ****.....I'M very unhappy.

I don't appreciate the run-a-round and the lack of responsibility!! bottom line is that they sent me damaged product and should be accountable.

Any suggesstions?? I can't wait another 6 months for them to make a new set.

It sounds like you've gone as far as you can with the centerline people. Will summit take them back? If not take them to a local polisher, like Russell's and get an estimate to fix them. It might not be as expensive as you think.

Centerlines only cost about $75 a pair. At least the ones I buy only cost that much. We're not supposed to talk about them on the hamb, either.

This one I don't understand at all. Why didn't you just send them back to Summit for a refund in the first place ? Summit has been EXTREMELY accomodating when we have had an issue and I have never had a problem getting a refund or replacement. They have even voluntarily kicked in money when not asked to do so to make a situation right.

There is another side to this one we aren't getting.

    Don

    20 x 15 ? Aren't those DONK wheels ?

What kind of "hot rod" are you running 20 x 15 wheels on?
