    Thanks, Slim!

It's based on an old Monogram 1/24 scale plastic kit...obsolete for years now, but they show up now and then, and I buy 'em when I run across 'em!

  5. Lance's old coupe is one of my top favorites! Dont change a thing! What a perfect mill for a car like that too.

    Hack,

Here's my effort, utilizing the same Monogram '30 Coupe (last released in 1998, if any of you guys are looking for one - it's stock, pea green with black fenders, on the box)

And here's one way to keep some legroom on a chopped and channelled coupe: drop the floors:

Model A coupe kits? I see them every now and then at automotive swap meets, but they're pretty common at model show/swaps. I'm sure there should be a few up on eBay, too. I have a buddy that has a couple in his stash, if I remember correctly. I'll see what it'd take for him to turn loose of them, if you like.

this might be a long shot......... since it was on ebay about 2-3 years ago.
**no its not the one that starts all the fights, so keep reading**
out of all these A pics noone has put up one i was hoping to see.
it was a darker blue, almost black
had a blue tinted rear window
a "clay smith/mr. horsepower" type of bird on the doors with some speedshop lettering.
the rear tires sat just above the decklid
a nice chop was taken out of the roof, had a visor.
i believe it was a small-block with multiple carbs.

i hope this is enough details since i do not have any pics of it. thanks.

    J Man,

It is at a winery up in Napa, CA.
Couldn't help snapping a few shots with it as a back drop.
