Got a show this weekend, and I want to take my Plym... not happy with the wheel colour. I liked it last year, but not so much today. I have blue and red metalics sitting on the shelf.. Thoughts?
Blue and red metalics sounds pretty cool to me, is it strip paint or sort of a psychodelic looking paint. I wouls stay with the gold but if I had to change the color I would choose the red over the blue.
SHow is in a couple days. I don't think I can find full caps. I'll leave the gold though. I was so NOT wanting red, but the gold ain't doing it for me today.. maybe I'll wash it lol!
If you want to go caps then make 'em black for now and they will be all prepped for when you find caps - maybe even at the show
Can't decide........... Paint the right side red and the left side blue.... See which way you like it best. Or heck leave it that way for the show and see who notices.
i did something like that back in the early80s. i had 2 cragars and 2 keystones. didnt want to pit one of each on one side so i put cragars on the passenger side and keystones on the drivers side.and took it to a car show. and now for the really funny part. i won a big trophy that nite.left it that way for almost a month before anyone noticed.
Have you got an extra steelie laying around with a tire on it that will bolt in the car? Experiment with it on the blue and then decide. I can remember sitting on my butt on the gravel in the driveway in 1963 painting the rims on my 51 Merc Coupe (the primered one in my avatar) with a small brush and a half pint can of black enamel. That was to cover the red paint that was on them then
