...just pulled this 38 coupe out of a barn where it has sat the last 40 years. I've known about it for 30 years but never laid eyes on it til a week ago. It was never for sale; I called the guy a week ago and he says he'd sell it; it's in pretty good condition other than a rusty tailpan and the left rear fender. ...(sorry, havin truoble loading pics, can't get the pics to load bigger rite now)
Cool...that's what my '37 was started out to be...but it took a little turn along the way!! Good luck with your projetc!
Oh my....I like that a lot..... When I was 14 years old a friend and I wanted to buy one like that...and the price was $35 dollars ..... Our folks made us flip a coin for it instead of going in together....he won.... Good for you..that is one cool body style. Cheers.......
Nice find! I know where there's a '36 Chevy coupe that was used as a rural mail delivery vehicle by the owner's Dad. He's sentimental about it but it sure is cool. Maybe one day he'll turn it loose. At least it's in a barn out of the weather... it's been said before; it's all about right place, right time. Congrats on being persistent and seizing the right time on this one!!
