Pushrod Length - Lifter Preload

    Soon to me in the mail I have the Comp Cam adjustable rod checker, how do you guys setup checking the correct push rod length on a Hydraulic Flat tappet setup with roller rockers....

    I for one have read a ton till my face turned blue, but I figured I'd ask the HAMB...

    Preload then check ?

    Or zero lash and then check the markings on the tops of the valve tips ?

    Whats your procedure :D

    I made up a solid lifter at zero lash height to check lenght on a roller cam
    set-up.
