i have been offered a pre 30s sedan with pretty solid steel work. however the wood work is pretty much rotted away. theres no roof at all,and the floor is no existant.. what are my options for a roof on this thing? basically theres nothing from the top of the doors, top of the windscreen frame and the same at the rear.. is there anyone out there making the woodwork for the roof framing etc for these.. oh btw its a 29 marmon roosevelt.. like this one... chances of finding stock bits is pretty slim i take it.. ive been told these are quite a rare car...did they not make many or have they all been scrapped??
try these guys, they may not have what you need, but they both know a lot of people. If you talk the right game, they might be able to send you in the right direction. The first guy is kind of a pain to deal with, but his stuff is really nice. i used his kit for a 1929 chevy 4 door http://www.autowood.net/index.htm http://www.chevywood.com/parts.html also, try these guys, they're super nice. I've called them on a few occasions and had a good "chat" http://www.woodncarr.net/index.html
