History WWII Spitfires found buried in Burma

Hope its OK to post this, cause I know lots of you mugs share my interest in WWII aircraft.

For what its worth, my dad, now 94, drove a fuel truck over the burma road in WWII. Hauling fuel for the Flying Tigers. Some great stories. He'll love this.

 

Glad you posted. I missed it the first time. I hope they follow up with what they find..Maybe a storage wars WW2 edition when they open the containers.

 

Burma has a special place in my heart, cause my Pops was stationed there in WWII, as a weatherman, in the Army Aircorp. Mom recently p***ed away as well, so we are cleaning out the house and I found ALL this cool literature on Burma, he kept over the years. Funny how they called them "****" in the text. We've come a long way.
