just beginning, and this evening we messed with the ch***is a bit. we're going to address the manueverability of the roadster first, so we can move it around while working on it, as the old ch***is is crusty and just pretty much shot. The tie rod didn't clear the wishbone when we replaced the stock axle with a '32 axle, and early juice brake spindels, of course....so, heating and dropping the spindle arms to get the tie-rod underneath the wishbone was in order. We thought about going over it, but decided not to go that route....FYI this will be a nose bleeder...we aren't planning to really lower it alot, so the tweaking of the spindles should be a one-shot deal. They came out great....and it didn't take but half an hour or so. this is just for starters, alot of big changes will come soon...still digging through the boneyard, weighing out options, and deciding what direction to go. For now, just getting the suspension in order is a must. here's some pics....

you 'n me both!......i'm just grateful he's sharing this with me. He knows i'm dyin' on the other side of town with my no-project, no-garage havin' *** lol. I've learned a TON since the days of the '28 Ford rpu....so when my time comes, i will be ready for it. How's your '36 coming along...or roadster...or chopper....you frickin' wizard, man i gotta get up there. I keep sayin' that, but i finally have a reliable vehicle so it's gonna happen. Of course i'm bringing my board and wetsuit....we're goin' surfin' brother!

That's a great start and it's only going to get better. You ought to come on over to the Chevron refinery we only work 10 hr. days there, unless there's a shut-down going on.

Hey Farmer, I thought of you this morning as I listed another set of Autolamp headlights in the cl***ifieds. You bought the first set I listed years ago. Remember?

    Nice roadster.
