Hey Merle, call Lee at Br***works. The build a better radiator than Walker and mine was much cheaper than a Walker. Hamb alliance vendor too...

I am sure someone else will chime in but I think alot of guys use a radiator from a 67-68 Mustang. I can measure mine if you need. Good luck.

v-8 is different from the 6. 67 289 or 68/69 302/351 are same depending on AC vs non AC. Somone has to have a 39 to know dimensions of grill and support to know if this will fit. Yours truly FNG

one thing to keep in mind the front sheetmetal is built around the stock radiator. your going to need to build a framework of the dimensions of stock radiator and find one that fits inside those dimensions. post some pics of your build, what kind of frame setup? sounds cool.

That's a good point above. Also, if you fit a radiator that is a bit smaller to the frame that you make, be sure to fill in all the holes around it so the air goes through the radiator and not around it. In my opinion, although I have used Mustang radiators many times, they are kinda "borderline" too small to work well with anything too hopped up.

One thing to remember about those Mustang radiators is bottom hose location. Somewhere along the line Ford changed which side the water outlet was on. The after market seems to make them both ways for most years. Just need to remember when ordering.

    Good point.

good point also and worth it. The stock rad is a big unit and will cool just about anything.

    Or not...

Ditto using a recored stocker....And they'll fit up the hose connections where you need 'em.
