So I have a 1955 1st series with a 235, 4 speed Automatic and stock rear end. It runs great outside of down-shifting a little tough into first. Love to cruise but I need to use the freeway some times, I've only push it to about 60. I have a 76 camaro project that I can take the rear end from.
????? Question: will swapping out the stock with the 76 rear end help much in terms of frwy speed?
Or is it gonna take more, or possibly a quicker fix? Cuz it runs great, just maybe a little too slow for frwy speeds.

Welcome from Indy. Move all of that to the main board and you will have better luck. Maybe 100 of us here and 100,000 over there.:D
