Guess I'm the newest newbie. Glad to be here. How to tap the wisdom on this site to learn about my latest vehicle. 35 Dodge Brothers pick up with a 50's Olds Rocket V8, pair of GM 4 jets, a mallory magneto, a hydramatic and a 9'' ford in the rear. It was built in the 60's and I have no history on it. Trying to positivly ID the engine without dis***embling it, as I got it running, 303, 324, 371 ??? Any Olds experts out there?? Thanks, Tom
Welcome to the HAMB from california. I'm sure you'll find all the info you need in regards to your rocket. I believe 1950-53 had the 303ci and 1954-56 had the 324. I think the 371 came out in the 60's and the 403,425,455 came in the 70's but I most likely will stand corrected soon enough. Glad you could make it
