Always did like the HAMB and have referenced it MANY times. Finally got signed up to share my next project. Got a few pics in my gallery. Right now I'm going to be restoring or setting up a rat-rod 1956 Mercury Monterey. Not sure yet.

I am looking forward to learning from others and possibly going to do a roof chop for the first time.

  2. Pity you didn't notice the "NO Rat Rods" theme when you were referencing the HAMB MANY times.
That would make a cool cruiser without destroying it to rat rod it ..

Tie him to the car...and drag him. Seriously, a bit of friendly advice...don't ever say those words here. We don't take kindly to it. Welcome to the H.A.M.B.

Thanks for the warm welcomes guys  I'm aware that the HAMB has a strong aversion to rat rods and people who just go crazy chopping up old cars. That's why I decided to join. I'd like to restore the car but only have experience in building rat projects. I'm sure I'll still find some useful, if not friendly, advice along the life of this build.

Rat rods ****! Nuff said....I'm sick of the Maltese cross, spiderweb, tractor grill, wrench door handle, mountain dew overflow tank, no floors, rusted out POS cruising down the road endangering our hobby. Yes, my opinion and you don't have to like it.
