Randy,
I envy you. You have your dad living with you. I am headed from CO to CA in the morning for 2 weeks to help Mom around the house. Too much for her to keep up with. Dad is 96. Doc says he is in good health and has a few more years left, but he has lost vision in one eye, can barely walk, and has lost most of his memory. He will not recognize me or my wife and will be suspicious of us for a day or two after we arrive. Mom takes care of him and I know it is quite a strain. I look forward to the visits I can make but it breaks my heart. I miss my Dad. I wish we lived close so I could see him more often even if he doesn't know who I am.
