Hubs plows snow in the winter, while on a back road this winter,he saw this vehicle over the bank. Well this weekend we decided to go and have a look see. It was parts of a 46 Ford pickup. There are lots of salvageable parts that will fit my 40 ford pickup. So we decided to take a little walk farther down the hill, to see if there we any more Vechicles. Now this gets funny!!!!! I was on my way down and of course I tripped and if you all know what the albatross bird looks like when he is coming in for a landing. Well that was Me, arms flailing I was stumbling and running all the while trying to keep myself from falling down!!!! and I was thinking to myself oh damn this is gonna hurt!!!..Hubs turns around and sees me coming at a full tilt and wonders what the hell is she doing????does she see a bear or what!!!!and bang I did a face plant at his feet!!!! nothing LIKE BOWING TO YOUR MASTER!!!!NOT!!! of course it seemed to be all done in slow motion I Had a few s****es and bruises but seeing the truck sorta calmed my aches and pains.. We have to go back and get the running boards another time. Our two sons and one of their friends helped hubs get the truck in his truck. Check it out!

Not as limber and young as I used to be..Mind is young but the body, well I will not go there.. Oh, sure! Get a 'challenging' nickname, and p*** the buck! Great story, Maggie. My favorite things are ones I've found, and given me memorable scars. The bumps and scars are like 'receipts'...
P*** the Buck I am so sure the nickname has already stuck, I am sure I would have to sign up under a new name in order to change my name.. but I can add it to my signature though. Let me work on that part.. I love the bumps and scars are like receipts saying A****er Mike... I am sure I am going to have lots of bumps and scars, cuts and s****es once I start helping hubs dis***emble the 40 and the 46..Dam!!!! I just know I am gonna break a fingernail or too, I know the new nail color that is all the rage this year is black thank god it will cover the color of grease I am not skeered of a little dirt...all is cool!
I am glad ya like that wbrw32. I just know when the 40FD PKUP is all done and painted I am just going to have to add an albatross picture painted somewhere on the truck body!!!!
