Sad News Big Willie Passed Away This Morning

I will always remember you Willie. Those were great times in LA in the '60's.
Rest in peace my friend.

 

Wow just caught wind of this,damn what a loss Willie was nice enough to spend time talkin to a "kid from Oregon" one day at fremont and told how to come watch some of the real thing at nite............Going to miss him even if I had not talked to him in many years..........BIG WILLIE WAS A BIGGER THAN LIFE LEGEND......respects to his friends,family and brothers

 

R.I.P Big Willie,you were a mountain sized man who brought people of all walks of life together where the only thing that mattered was the "1320"!

 

Big Willie Tribute & Vigil - Two Locations for Thursday 05/24/2012

Tomorrow Thursday between 4:00pm - 10:00pm
There will be a Tribute held at Irwindale Dragstrip
sometime during their Thursday Night Test N Tune.
You will have to pay admission to get in the gate.

Irwindale, CA 91706

Then At 11:00pm there will be a Candle Light Vigil held at 135th and Main St.in Los Angeles (Willobrook) California.
You will find the location off the 110 in between the 91 and 105 freeway.
There is no fee for this gathering just be there.

Just in from Fabian: Candle Light Vigil held at 135th and Main St. was huge. Lots of Coverage... (Los Angeles) Ch 13, 11 have already broadcast (rebroadcast at 2:00am). Ch 9, 7, 4, 2 may also have something soon. Amazing!

Was at CRP BBQ yesterday and received info in regards to the services from the Brother Hood. A Big Thank You to the Family for all to be present.

 

I was parts hunting today at U Pick in Sun Valley and came across Big Willies old van. Was shocked to see it here.







Still has his Camo seat in it.

 

What will become of his 73/74 Charger? Yeah It was rough looking and kinda goofy but cool in a "Mad Max" way.
