Got me a new...new to me '56 Ford Tudor Sedan. Here is what I know about it so far:

    Full Air Ride Suspension
    4 Link in the rear
    GM ZZ4 motor
    GM TH350 ******
    Aluminum 4 core Radiator
    Bucket Seats

Like I said, this is what I know of it so far. I can say it is a very solid body, especially the floors and trunk. I got to get a battery on it, so I can raise the car up.....and damn it was a sum ***** to get it towed layin so low. I will be honest, I don't know **** about Air Ride....yet? I got a few pictures so far, but will post more later in the week.

I plan on redoing the interior, like the paint color on the dash....which I am leaning toward a satin cream or ivory maybe. If you guys have any suggestions, feel free to chime in! Thanks in advance.

  4. That is ****ing rad! I wish there were more '56 Fords out there being done. What are you're plans? Shaving the mirrors, door handles and changing the trim would be a nice start.

I know that 55'-56'-57' Chevy's always get the glory
(I do like the 55' & 57 models), but I also like the looks of the 55'-56-'57' Fords.
I think it's because the Chevy's ran better and didn't leak (As much) oil.
However... your problem is already solved,
    by running a Chevy smallblock & TH350!
Does it have a Ford rear end? (My choice)

    Is it factory stock ?

My uncle had a new 56 Ford crown vic. I was just learning to drive and got to drive his a lot. Only thing bad about his is the 9 MPG!
It was buckskin brown and white.---***tie pink-n-white.
Great lookin cars when fixed up right.

Knox....that is good to know, because I don't know **** about the air ride yet. It has 2 compressors and 2 tanks, with a 10 switch control panel. That is all I really know so far. I will probably take you up on the offer for some info help. Do you live in Dallas TX? Thanks again bud.
