Anyone know if 35-36 Ford Spare Tire Rings are being re-pro'd?

    This has been discussed previously. I believe Flyright (sp?) is making repops for chopper fenders. And I know Chica is making them too. You can still get original on ebay for pretty reasonable prices. Last one I bought was under $50 and in real nice shape.

    I don't think Drake repops them, and aren't the Chica ones super high dollar?

    I know its the cardinal sin but I have a mould for these guards to make carbon fibre ones if you get stuck

    They aren't as scarce as you might think I sold two in the cl***ifieds recently . One for $40 and one for $45.

  10. Jay, Denise and I met a HAMBer in Dayton Ohio earlier this year and he showed me one the a guy in the complex he was renting had made.

    It looked real good and he said the guy may be making some to sell.

    I'll try and get some contact info or Denise can get back to you, I'm sure she has all that info.

    Also I might have one. CAn you get two fenders out of one stock one?
     
  11. I'm pretty sure I can.
    The fenders will have an approx 110 degrees arc.
    I can go shorter if the ring is less than 220 degrees.

    Let me know what you find out.
