Hot Rods Kuch Roadster Build Thread

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Jalopy Kid, Nov 5, 2010.

  1. Well all the wiring is done now. Took it for a nice shake down run. Turns left, turns right, stops, goes backwards, and goes really fast forwards!
The ****** pops out of 2nd gear when decelerating, and the steering box needs to be adjusted to tighten it up a bit. But other than that it drives real nice! Oh and the air conditioning was working real good today!

That sits right and looks fun as all getout. Wasn't sure about the headlights, but it looks like you guys worked it out perfectly.

Mr. Kucher obviously came to the right place. Very nice work.

Looks great Lee! Just be thankful it warmed up this week if the weather was like the beginning of the week the shakedown run would have been suicide.:D

Sure made it look easy. Could not possibly have been as easy as it looked. Could it? Is the gap between pro and amateur weekend hacker that great?

    Beautiful hotrod, fabulous work.

  11. Well good news, the car was finished on time, went in for it's out of province inspection and p***ed with flying colors! It is now signed off by the government as A-OK, and roadworthy, registered and insured!

More good news, the car is back at the shop again, because Ted wants me to keep going on it!
