Search "airbag chevy stock front end" there's several good threads on it.

The rear is the easy part! Almost any rear bag job can cross over to your ride. Are you still running a torque tube?

  6. no torque tube got olds wagon rear
    with stock springs
looks like i is gonna have to run the pipes under the axle
and figure out how to weld a crosmember where the bend is in the frame

and weld it in place with the body on with my diabetic hands, burns dont heal
looked at your pics nice job

Check out my build thread on my 54 chev, I followed rustypipes thread and mine went together very smooth and works great. Good luck on your build

  10. Eugene, check out Summit, etc. for bolt-in air bag helper kits for drag racing. Guys have been bolting air bags on rear axles to help the launch a lot longer than they have been a mini truck fad...

Yes the rear is easy, look at my thread, I didnt cut the floor, but I also didnt c-notch the frame either. build a bridge between the frame rails and install bags either infront or on top of the rear end, if you place the bag behind the axle you will need to relocate/ or get a different gas tank.

  14. looked at alexes links great stuff thanks

mr concded looks like that will be the way i will have to investigate, got lots of leftover parts as this stuff never fits so will have to try to get er done this car is a spare driver so i dont want to cut any tin and we have cold weather here

i dont need a notch but want to lift this when needed i did the same on my 60 buick and it works well just with the rear

i have a mustang front and have a air bag kit that would fit but i may run the lines and controlls but dont think i will put it in right away
the front sits way low already about 4 in under the crossmember or less

i am gonna put working lakes pipes on this and plan to put them under the rocker panel in height[i think] so thats why i would like to be able to raise this up for clearance
