Hey, new here. Newest FNG on the list. Guess I better intro myself. My name is Shawn Sousley, I'm from Gillette, WY. I just aquired my father's '46 1/2 ton that he bought back in 1977 in Montana. It was his daily driver/hunting truck until '84. It has been sitting since then at my grandfather's house. We figured it's been sitting for long enough so I brought it home and have been getting started on the build-up. I have the ch***is from a 1992 S-10 extended cab that I will be using. I have most of the body off of the '46 so hopefully soon I can get started setting the body on the new ch***is. I'll have some pics soon of the truck and the build. Just have to get them sorted out and uploaded. This looks like a killer forum for info on these trucks so you will probably be seeing plenty of me on here from here on out.
Welcome from New York. My 37 Chevy pickup is on an S-10 ch***is. Makes for a nice riding suspension. Good luck and have fun with your build.
