I will be in Dallas Friday thru Sunday.
    Anything cool happening this weekend?
Is there a speed shop or rod-candy store in Dallas that I should see while I am there this weekend?

I usually drop by Sachse Rod Shop ,[Sachse Texas, Dallas suburb now] they build rods and have a good selection of parts. I don't have their web address in front of me but they have a site. I imagine some of the DFW guys will chime in soon with more!

There usta be a Chopper shop here in LB that didn't open UNTIL noon! :D
The guy kept a Schwinn cruiser bike on one of his two cycle dynos, so people could see how many horsepower they could pedal per beer...I did 4 hp once.

Yea, I know...Doesn't have anything to do with speed shops in Dallas but it WAS a speed shop!

You looking for a Speed Shop that may have some equipment for a rod and not just stuff for '69 Camaros, or a rod shop that may have some speed equipment a****st the blue dots, decals and T shirts?
    Yall should specify. ;)

SACHSE ROD SHOP, THEY DO GREAT WORK, BUT THEIR PLACE IS THE SIZE OF A E-Z MART GAS STATION, NOT TO MENTION HARD TO FIND. LGS MOTORS IN WYLIE IS A HUGE PLACE. THEY DO NOTHING BUT CHEVY, BUT DAMN THEY HAVE SOME CLEAN RIDES

    Bummer,

I am visiting my son who lives in Wiley.
Two streets up there is a little roadster for sale. I'll post some pics tomorrow.
Went by the Sachse Rod Shop at 5:00 tonight. Nice folks.
Gonna stop again tomorrow during their open house.
