Weather permitting I'll be there for a bit. Last nite I went to a cruz nite way north of me in Commerce Township or something like that. I left with these very black clouds chasing me all the way home. Made it in the garage within minutes of a downpour. Anyway, tommorrow nite make sure you make it up to MickyD's. Tuesday nite we all talked about taking a cruz together Friday nite down Telegraph and picking out a spot for us to hang for next Saturdays cruz.

Alright, one more day! Im pretty excited about crawling that yard tomorrow, but im more excited about meeting all of YOU! Just a couple things, Were planning on meeting at the park N ride just off the interstate at 9:30. MATTAWAN Exit I'm not sure how much parking room he will have at the yard, but its pretty close so we may need to consolidate rides there if theres lots of vehicles. There is some good stuff there yet. I picked up a no rust 47 Chevy hood, and some wall art for a good price. Most everyone who came bought something. I'll go back. It is well worth the trip.
it was alot of fun. nice to meet some new HAMBers in person. maybe next time we'll have to get some breakfast too so we can socialize a bit more. there was alot of neat stuff to look at and some good parts to be had. i'll be back. i'll post a bunch of pics tommarow. tonight i am too whooped. been a long busy day...
Had a good time meeting some "new" guys and looking things over. There are probably some hard to find mid-50's to mid-60's parst in some of those three car high piles. I hope they are successful in liberating them. Yards like that in Michigan are just about gone and cleaned out...pretty much like everywhere else I guess. When you've been frequenting junk yards for close to 50 years as I have there isn't much left but the lament over the way they used to be. Always makes me a little sad, but there's not much to be done for it. Charlie
