I Just bought a 1953 Chevy 210 2 Door Sedan last week. I will be doing a few mods to it and first is to lower it 3" all around. I bought blocks for the rear and springs and shocks for the front. I have also searched like crazy on the forum before joining to find a picture of a 53 chevy lowered 3" to get an idea of what it will look like and have come up with nothing. So any PICS of a 53 chevy lowered 3" out there if you could post them or send me a PM that would be awesome. I will be posting pics of the cars progression as well. The Car has a 3 speed on the tree and I will also be looking to put an s-10 5 speed transmission on the floor, I heard there was an adaptor kit for the straight 6 cyl.

Here a pic of mine.. it has 3 inch blocks in the rear and Fatman dropped uprights and steering arms up front. Gives it a lil over 2 1/2 inch drop in front. I'm getting ready to put bags, and linking the rear via truck arms. So it won't be like this for long.
Also, I was running big tires in the pic..G78 bias ply..kinda big for this car..swapped them for smaller 6.70's and that alone made the car lower than this. Steered a heck of a lot better too!

Thank you, I am waiting on some suspension parts from Jamco and my carb to come back from getting rebuilt, then I can finally drive the car.
