    Hi,

I put a 92 jag front and rear end into my 37 Dodge PU. The front brakes are connected well but I'm having trouble with the rear brakes. I didn't take the splitter off the jag and I'm having trouble finding a 12mm Tee that will work. I've thought about changing the line to the rear to 10mm but I can't find an adapter from a 12 to a 10 for the master cylinder. The 10mm tees I've found are inverted rather than bubble. Brakes aren't my high point so am I going about this wrong?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Let's back up a second...

A '92 Jag was an ABS car, so it will have had separate lines running to each rear caliper.

So what you're trying to do is tee them together and run a single line to the MC, with an M10 bubble tube nut at the rear and an M12 bubble tube nut at the front?

What have you got in back right now?

    What MC are you using?

will have all the tube nuts and tees you need, as well as the tube if you want to use the nice but slightly pricey Cunifer copper-nickel-alloy tubing, but you will of course have to have the proper tools to make the ISO bubble flares.

  3. '92 Jag??
Wouldn't have been my choice in Jag stuff.
    Early eighties would be though.

    Hi

The 92 did have ABS. It has three lines coming from the master cylinder. Two 10mm lines that I ran to the front wheels and one 12 mm that I ran to the back. I want to split the 12 to run to each rear wheel.

  5. Go to a place that specializes on Brit parts. There should be one in your vacinity. Get the proper parts and put it together right.

You want inverted flare by the way.

You can buy ******s that you screw into the calipers and master cylinder to convert over from metric fittings. Check out the Independent Suspension Rear Forum http://irsforum.boardhost.com/ They have a lot of good info on this.
