Well Got my Pontiac out of storage today, and while cruising around a few blocks from my house I found this 52 Buick Special Hardtop, the cousin to my Pontiac... Now just need to see if its for sale.

I used to goto Horace Mann Junior High school a 100 years ago. On my walk/ride each day was a red one. Oh and an 59 imperial. Each day I would think about those cars...Hell even at 42 I still do. I remember putting notes on them asking if they were for sale...thank gawd they werernt...parents woulda been pissed...

Let us know how it comes out....btw I hit the springs every summer...love that place...great pontiac too!

Springs is good but has grown out of control. Still a lot of old cars laying around though..

  7. The Buick you found is a 1951 and not a 1952.
I have exactly the same, a 51 Special 2 door coupe, model 45 R (Riviera)

Actually a 51 had side trim that went down the side of rear quarter, this one appear to be 52 but who knows?

Plan to make a cousin twin of my Pontiac. Straight 8 runs good. 3speed shifts well.

Love how it sits, I'm going to have to keep an eye out for one of those to take the place of my daily driver. :)
