This bumper was on my 46' K3 International Harvester. It seems that it is not an orginal K or KB series bumper. Someone even mentioned it looked like a model A bumper??? No clue what those look like.
I figure I would post it here and see if anyone recognized it.

How wide is it? Reminds me of a '32 Chevy front bumper.

Model A's had two bars in front and no bar behind them. How about dimensions?

  4. Of no help to you at all, but nice truck, there was one for sale over here for a while. If I had the spare cash I would have bought it.

Definitely not Model A. I parted out a '37 Chevy car and it had bumpers like that, brackets looked similar too, might be worth taking a look at mid 30's Chevys and seeing if any are a match.

The bumper is 71" end to end and 5" tall. Looks like the mounting point has been altered in a poor manner to work on my Binder. On the rear of the mounting bracket, I can make out 37 and what looks like CHE. Not sure. I looked up every 37 Chevy I could find and they don't match. This bumper uses a 1 piece bracket that mounts on both ends and once in the dead middle of the bumper. The center mounting point is fixed. The two end mounting points lool like they are designed to be able to move as the ends of the bumper flexes.
I'll look up the Buicks too .

37-38 Chevy truck? They use the 1 piece bracket like that, my '38 did at least.

Here's one off of a 33 Chevy. Looks a lot like the one you have but this one is only 62 1/2" wide and 4" tall. Maybe yours is off of a truck from around the same year.

This is a wide and tall bumper. So its probably off a 32-33 Chevy commercial truck. Possibly a 1-1/2 ton flat bed or other medium-duty model.

Well, I'm yet to see one dead on like it, the Chevy ones are close. As is ones I saw on Checker's. The Checkers look like they might just be Chevys though.
Think I'm gonna end up modifying it a little and use it on the back of my truck.
    Thanks for the help.
