  2. I'd decide what eng/trans you want and what stance you want, then build/have built a frame that fits, for starters. I'm ***uming ya wanna rod it as there not much there to restore. A lot depends on your capabilities, friends and finances!

Welcome.....looks good to me. On the site you will find plenty of build threads and you will see a lot of talk about stance and ride height etc. pick a style you like and build towards that. Don't change ideas mid build if you can help it....those changes add up to money. I would do a realistic list of all your components and expenses and make sure you have the scratch to follow it thru or it will just be another sad garage queen, never finished and then sold at a loss.

Ya got a tear drop firewall...looking at the indent on the p***enger side...some say they are rare and cool looking (I think they are cool looking). One thing that my 30 Tudor project came with was a frame stretched 5" in the front engine mount area....man I was happy with that extra room when I stared swinging the bigger V8 in with auto trans plus the extra room for your feet and engine fan/radiator....I am able to use the OE firewall without the big aftermarket style indents to make room for the V8...just a pre-planning tip...model A engine bays are quite snug.

Looks like a good start to me. i use 2x4 - 1/8 wall for my ch***is, you can pinch the front and rear of the frame by cutting a wedge out of the sides at the top or bottom for a more realistic look. What ever you do , add enough gussets and incorporate an X in your frame design. i consider that a must to maintain ch***is squareness and strength. good luck, have fun and keep us posted.

Cause thats not what this sites about, traditional is where its at here, not some half ****d half finished project that people call rat rods. Theres a heap of people on this site that are more than happy to answer your questions and help you along in any which way they can, but if you mention the rat rod word people will pretty quickly lose interest in helping and bag the **** outa ya. In saying that its your car, you can do what you want with it you may just have to find another forum if you choose to head down that road!!!
