I try not to post off topic stuff, but I ran across an "old car" coloring book I've had since the 90's. I took a few minutes to scan in the pictures, to help you guys with kids or grand kids get them started early! You'll see that quite a few of the cars are Hamb friendly. If some of you decide to use these 'coloring book' pictures to work out your paint job, it can be our secret.

And here are the cars that are non-hamb friendly. Your kids won't know.

Those are cool. I think the '62 409 chevy is pretty HAMB friendly though.

This is awesome! Would've been great to have at the last car show along with the Make-N-Take booth.

Cool! I've got a neice that loves to color. Usually I've got to draw her something "different" and that ends up being hot rod or monster related. So, this may fit the bill for a day off or two.

Those pictures remind me of the "Kill Decals" we used to get at Goodies.
Jungle Jim (Lieberman) had some on his '58 Chevy (with the 409)

I kept adding them to my '56 Ford and he kept adding more. Looked just like these, but direct side view.

There's another set of these coloring pages out there that are all 1948 and older cars. I have a set stashed away that I'll have to dig out, scan and post here.

these are the ones NSRA used to use for their kids coloring contest at Nats events. Not sure if they still are, but I'd guess so--with the addition of some really OT cars given the new standards :)

With a some whiteout and scissors, you can create a rendering of what you want your car to look like with all of these coloring book photos. Chopped, channeled, frenched, different hubcaps and grilles..
