Anyone have a knowledge of the pontiacs of this year? I have a 60 safari wagon, and the radiator is in rather poor condition. I need to find a replacement/make something else work. The issue is there is an extra hose that comes from the p***enger side head, to an extra inlet on the lower p***enger side of the radiator. I have no clue what to do to replace this radiator, considering i cant find a large amount of replacement parts for this rare boat.

    Any info/suggestions is greatly appreciated!

The nearest radiator shop i know of is over 2 hrs. Away. What will the cost of recoring be?

  5. well around here about 250.00 depends on the cores size and number of cooling fins per inch and size /number of core tubes

wow. by the time i drove it up, got the work done, and then drove back up to get it i would have roughly 500 bux in the thing. i believe i will continue to look for a replacement. The original core is poorly designed anyway. It takes only a minor bump to split it wide open. the tubes arent very well protected from contact on either side, i'm ***uming thats why it has 5 or 6 patch jobs on it...

Surfs up lil bro. Sounds cool, good shop here, but I know it's not much help. You might check some of the cross breeds of the time, Buick, Olds, ect.;)

Radiator shops are going away at an alarming rate! Guess the cheaper replacements are doing them in.

A good shop will need 4/5 hundred for a good br***/copper recore these days. I personally can't abide by aluminum radiators.
