1961 comet ?

    i am need of a few answers. i was wondering if the falcon hood of the same year will fit my fiances comet, and are the rear quarter bottoms and wheel arches the same as far as replacement panels go. thanks

    NO the hoods are compleatly different But the rear quarters should work... The hood on a comet is about 3 to 4 inches longer.
     
  3. To elaborate, the entire front clip WILL bolt up, 'A' pillar forward. No individual parts will work with the Falcon bits, however.

    However, will a '63 falcon hood fit on a '61 falcon?:confused: Got a '61 4door recently with terribly done (not to mention pointless) hoodpins that made the hood all holey and rusty. I like the '63 hoods better, so I want to use one of those......

    Nope, '60 and '61 will interchange (although something in my brain remembers a change in hood latches) and '62 '63 will interchange.

    put the whole comet front clip on the falcon!
