Hello everyone. This is my first post to the HAMB. I live in northern Indiana with my Wife and two kids. I've been following the HAMB for quite a few years and thought it was time to introduce myself. I have a 1936 ford tudor that I've starting doing work on. A few years ago I bought a 59A flathead. It had been bored, stroked and reliefed. It seemed like a good motor to rebuild and put in my car. It sat in my garage for over a year. One day I was taking a look at it and I noticed that GRANCOR was stamped on the cam. I did some research and found out about Andy Granatelli and Grancor. When I went back to begin breaking the motor down, I found out the block was stamped GRANCOR also. I've read many of the grancor threads but never saw where anyone talked about owning a grancor motor. I couldn't sit back anymore. I hope to find out more about the motor and if any of you may have one. Thanks, 36ford
