Well I am new here, come from the state of Ohio and I just picked up this 55 Customline on one hell of a deal. The only thing I have had to do to make the car street worthy was a carb rebuild and a rear main seal. It will make a great weekend cruiser until the tear down this winter and that's when all the fun really starts.

Welcome from Oklahoma. I had a '56 years ago that I put a 312 out of T-bird in to it. Made a lot of difference over the original 272 2bbl engine. Your car looks great.
Rustednutz, it has the 272 in it with a 3 speed, the only downfall to this is that they switched it to the floor. 4 barrel carb, car runs great. I'm super excited to go to shows and just cruise around the town
