Waitin' to see myself. My dad's got a 34 Chevy coupe body ready to pick up at Downs right now.

  3. If you HAVE to buy a glass body, the Downs is one of the best.

I just helped dad unload his Downs 35 Chevy coupe body. I'm no expert on glass bodies but it seems like a well built, quality piece to me. Exterior had a little orange peel in places and I found a few pock marks but overall straight and solid and should finish out nice. Door and trunk gaps are good. Hand laid glass with steel and oak structure. Dad couldn't say enough about what a good guy Jamie Downs was to deal with and how impressed he was with the facility and the people he had working for him. He said he would recommend Downs to anyone.

  5. I just picked up a Dearborn Deuce by Downs. It's the fiberglass version of the Dearborn Deuce with the folding top.

It's my first glass car and I am very impressed. Nice fit and finish - good door gaps, etc... Good support structure. Nice car for the money.
