Best event in the country. The covered stands are right next to the track. Bring ear protection, you'll be glad you did.

Nothing else to really do, except eating and maybe the Corvette museum. Not sure if Holley will do a plant tour this year or not. Go to Toots on scottsville rd to eat, get the chicken fingers shaken in hot buffalo sauce, and the fried dill pickle chips.

Had a great time. Meet some great people. Did not see the car show much but could see there were a lot of cars over there. They had a HAMB gathering spot but could not make it over.
By a couple watermelons for the cooler. great to **** on as its hot.
It rained and I had to leave Saturday night:(. But it was worth every second.
Not going to be able to make it this year but would love to go back sometime. Thank you to my friends Steve and Sally Walczak.
Have fun and post some photos .

Thanks wbrw32. Hamb meet n greet is a must do. I'm gearing up to build a 64 falcon " g***er " I'll be on the hunt for anything for inspiration . Friends of mine were planning to be there to run their aa/ fuel dragster but illness and time constraints prevail. Thanks guys for all the insight. Any more is welcome!!

I've seen that tickets can be bought online for the complete event and daily admission. You can pay at the gate day of show right? Thanks

Got to cruise the hotels in the evening! The parking lot shows are incredible, esp at the hotel where the award ceremony is at (don't recall the name of it).

Just make sure to hang around Saturday night for Cacklefest. If you've never seen one, you won't be disappointed. Other than that, tons of water during day, and beer at night!
