well the mapquest was off on distance. what I thought was a 500 mile round trip was 750. Still tired. We loaded this thing up at midnight with an excavator of all things. Two young boys half awake were most certainly thinking of transformers when we loaded it. lol. Long drive home rolled in at 7am. I'm getting too old for all night driving.
55 210(4dr). western ks car. floors and trunk are clean. When I went to car wash today and cleaned under the car you can still the factory red on the floor pans! 265turns over, PG has electric wipers though its a dry climate car. Since I have a 4 door already and looking at a wagon next wk end I'm not sure what I'll do with it. Its too nice to cut up 4 door or not.

check out the over load springs on the back with air shocks. lol

it got a light rear ending some time back. the worst spot under the driver's tail light. I'm thinking 2 dr conversion if I keep it. a hack of 2dr brings 4k around here. If I took 4k minus purchase price to fix and convert it the end result next to the 2dr hack this would be a much nicer car.

In my book, that's one of very few cars that actually looks ok as a 4 door.

Seems like Kanasas is a good place to find tri 5's. Most I've got were up there. I need about 3 weeks off in late jan-feb(after snow and leaves have fallen so you can see) with 10K cash so I can scour the kansas country side like josie wells with a trailer and a 3/4 ton lol

Rick it is almost! Maybe I should keep it for a future ol lady??? There are a few things on it I like more than mine if it weren't for this hiccups in rear quarters they'd be in about the same shape.

I have yet to see a 4dr into 2dr conversion that winds up looking good. Unless you're going to use a 2dr donor car, it's just going to look like a 4dr. Leave it as a 4dr, they're not the anathema that they were 'back in the day'. Nice find, by the way. fix it and paint it, hop it up and drive everyone around in it. You have kids, 4drs are made for kids.

  14. Next time leave the kids with the missus and I'll drive out with ya. LOL

Sounds like one of the escapades of my youth.

neat car and nothing is too nice to cut up.

I didn't see any palm trees and a 95 dually is far less romantic than a drop top ford. lol. My boys did have some fun. He's standing in floor a 57 4dr post with a factory ac dash here. Its in his blood already This was our midway on the trip.

I had to listen to Roy. Good tunes.

That looks like quite a start !!! I have a 57 210 4dr. I thought about hopping it up and making a sleeper,:D because who would suspect anyone would do that to a 4dr? I have since decided that I will leave the 2bbl 327 and 3-on-the-tree ****** in it and have a fun car i can afford to drive. I like the idea of a 2dr better, but a 4dr is handier if a few friends want to come along. It's your car. Do whatever you want to it. This is coming from a 16 year old in high school with a fairly limited budget. SLEEPER!!!

I've bought a set of 2dr doors already. People ask how kids travel? with a funny look on their face. I say great that's all they know.

Keep it a four door, more doors, more people, more fun, easy access.

i knew a few old whiskey runners from back in the day.you would definitly keep the back seat. law didnt see a seat they tried to pull you over because they thought the seat area would be stacked with the booze.so you keep the ol car lookin as stock as you could but pure hell under the hood.some even doubled up on the shockes to help keep the rearend from droppin down too much.
