thanks, i bought the budget hinges from speedway as seen here http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Budget-Hinges-Steel,3402.html
they are almost a exact match to an orgional 32 ford. the 300 and change ones that are bronze are almost close but way over priced.

hes going on it, just a few little unforeseen problems but it should be ****oned up soon

This project is a huge motivator, but are you still making progress at the moment? I've realized I've had to put my project on hold for a while, and I'll still have a couple of months before I can start! Good thing is, I'll be in a SoCal for two months so I should be able to secure what I need. If you have any pics, we're watching intently. Be resourceful with your time, and stay motivated! I don't mean to sound cliche, but If you find yourself thinking about your hobbies as if their a task, then your doing it wrong. Sometimes you have to chill, swallow your pride, and take your time and reevaluate. If it's an intimidating project than it will feel like you don't have the free time to work on it, but If you break it down somehow it will start to get done. Some of the ladies and gentleman on here may know what I mean by swallowing your pride(more or less) for the rest of us, you begin to intimidate yourself and end up with a stalled project :(. I've always worried about expectations, and the most effective one in destroying your interest in the project is your own. Trust me if you feel you don't have the time to work on your projects, you either have to many or you've lieing to yourself and have actually spent that time less productively. Sometimes it's as simple as chilling in the garage with beer, rather than going out partying. I had that mindset beat into me at bootcamp, but It's not that hard to understand. I don't know what your situation is but, remember that a hobby is more fun than a task :)

It's Bruce Geislers (Geisler Construction) truck that was originally built by the Ayala bros. in the 50's.
Bruce bought it back some time ago and put a blower motor in it. I was not aware that Bruce had sold it. I hope the new owner puts it back the way it was done originally.

That's my homie Bubba67's new found love. Yes it is the old Ayala specimen, which could possibly go back to the Ayala rendition but for now just gonna enjoy the truck the way it is.
We figured we would give Pryor some enthusiasm in his new aircraft hanger:(

We had the Truck out at the Diggs in Englishtown Sat night, purred like a kitten and drove great!!!

Yeah, It's the Ayala shop truck ( Hop Up Magazine and Rod and Custom '53) then bought and updated by Bruce Geisler ( Rod and Custom and Hot Rod magazine '57)
After a couple of failed attempts by others to fill the hole in the hood from the blower, I brought it to Pryor to apply his metal expertise. Thanks Pat.
The truck will be brought back to it's 50's configuration. Here's a picture of it at the Digs this weekend, photo by Flatpower.
