Just taking an interest poll on this. Would you rather own a 62 falcon 200ci motor.2 door, Solid body . Or.... 1960 Buick lesabre 4door, 364 nailhead solid driver..

What are you looking to do with 'em? Daily Driver? Saturday Evening Cruizer? Strip Car?

For the first two, I'd take the Buick. For the last one, I'd take the Falcon and dump something silly under the hood...

4 doors are parts cars unless they have a long roof!

the falcon would be my choice

Weekend and free time driver.. I've got a few other drivers so I'd like to stay away from a money pit either way

Generally I'd agree, but '60 Buicks look great no matter how many doors they have. I even think I like the 4-Door Flat-top pillerless sedan the best out of their whole line-up that year.

  6. I'll take the big Buick as my daily ride and play with the Falcon on week ends....maybe 20 years ago it would be the other way around....now, I'm all about comfort and a smooth ride.

I'd take the Falcon. Engine size isn't that big a deal to me and I love the look of the early Falcons and Rancheros. However saving either one is a good deed in my book.

I own the falcon now, took it on a trade from a buddy who really wanted a car that I had. It's nice, it's super clean... I'm not "in love" with it and keeping it original has been a huge chore compared to my other old rides.. Just swapped my trans out.. Drove for two weeks and I think the park pawl gave loose, I've got parts to fix it, but at this point it just feels like a chore. I'm gonna check this Buick out and see what it's all about

Both are cool rides but the Falcon would be a good daily driver/ cruiser with the current gas prices.

I wouldn't be caught dead in a four door for any reason that wasn't a wagon... EVER! Besides, a Falcon with a 200 inch six is a fun car to play with and suprisingly quick when rubbed on just a wee bit.

  13. Does a he**** count as a wagon?

Buick all the way! Four doors rule! Like my buddy's dad told me when I got my first car- "remember son, two doors are cool, but you can get more girls in the car FASTER with a four door..."

1960 Buick or 1962 Falcon? No question I'd take the Buick everyday and twice on Sunday.

It definitely depends on what your planning on doing with them, they are very different cars. I love falcons but big Buicks make great cruisers!

I have to laugh at all the snobs that won't drive a four door.

you would turn down a powerful cruiser for that wimpy little Falcon?

That Buick would be a wonderful driver and would be a great family car.

unless you prefer the fuel economy of the little six cylinder.

I own the falcon now... And a few others that are not "fuel friendly". I also own a 53 customline fordor that by all means is my favorite car... V8 flathead all original cruising down the road . The falcon isn't a tire smoking beast or anything... He'll it's usually my grocery getter. I honestly like both cars... Just throwing this out here for an interest poll, I know what I like. My computer is broke so I hamb from my phone so I can't send pictures from here. If anybody wants to see a picture of either send me your number I can't text or email them. I sware the falcon gets it's feelings hurt everytime I try and sell it something breaks... Drive it for months it's fine, put it up for sale and something breaks. And it unnerves me to sell it to someone coming to my house trying to buy it for a 15 year old kid with temps who tells me no I don't work on cars & will this be a reliable car for a new driver.... Not if you can't maintain it..... And no don't even think about knocking on my door next month when a tail
    Light goes out
