Ever get excited for a road trip, finally go, and when your almost there...wish you were home? We were! 5 hours may not seem much to others but when your going somewhere you know nothing about, it seems like forever. I swear, we were both hearing things, laughing , and nearing the edge of "Cracking" into insanity. 2xcrash and I went on a road trip Friday-Saturday this weekend. It was lots of fun and gave us time to decide what we could or want to do to our rides. One other note...it was fricken hot like hell. I think it was 110 w/ 60 percent humidity. A few times, I thought the devil himself was helping us move some of the stuff into the truck. The worste part was...anything left in the sun...became hot like a stove....I swear you could have BBQ'd burgers on them with ease. Since my start of my A-coupe...Crash has been "Jones'n" for an early ride. With some diligent searching and great HAMB'rs...it was made possible. 2xCrash was able to pick up a few items: ~A frame rolling ch***is ~23-25 Modified body w/ opening p***enger door. ~front juice setup ~55' Ford rear end (complete drum to drum) ~59AB Flatty (propane fueled/oil field motor very clean) ~(2) 16" steelie Ford rims ~Rear spring and hardware Chopped50Ford picked up: ~(3) nice WWW 16" bias ply tires ~(2) 16" Ford Wires ~Early Juice drums front and rear ~59AB Flatty (factory relieved/Propane fueled/Oil Field motor) with cool stand ~(2) complete A- front axles and spindles ~Front A spring I thought we did good considering...we are happy campers. Im the ugly one that looks like an L.A. city philipino bum (dirty/****** white shirt and grey shorts). (smile and say cheese!) We of course made our traditional stop at In-n-Out...After that long day, the food tasted great! The first group shot is 2xcrash, myself and RustyRat....(thanks Ron for the parts and the hospitality) The 2nd was setup by Crash, I was the worker-bee...(help me out 2xcrash w/ the Hamb Name...) No, no, no...it wasnt like that. The old man wasnt home to get the heads from him and I forgot your number to call, plus we didnt p*** through BAkersfield until 9pm...we did plan a visit to stop at the Roadhouse (for some real cookin'), but it was too late and know you were gone for the day since 6pm. Believe me we considered but we had alot of issues trying to get up and going. Before long, it got too late.
I bbq'd steak and potato's out by the pool......and my mama laughs at me when I take my little black phone book EVERYWHERE with me! HA! Next time! That scary white boy could have laid out by the pool and got a little sunshine on those legs. But wear your shades, they's BRIGHT WHITE! **x Brandy
