There are a few companies offering aftermarket dropped spindles
for the old chev, but make sure you buy the required dropped arms or they
won't fit...FATMAN, Speedway, and I am sure there are others

  3. They used an upright and not a spindle. But as has been mentioned speedway or fat mans should be able to hook you up with what you need.

all i am seeing is them for 55-57 not for a 50. any help? post some links.

  5. That is because in '55 they went to a true independent suspension with stamed steek A arms and ball joints with a spindle as opposed to the earlier king pin suspension like your '50 has.

What you need to look for is dropped uprights. Speedway and fat mans was an ***umption on my part and a good place to look. If anyone has them one of those will. maybe if you look for something for corvette up into the early '60s. You car has the same suspension as say a '61 Corvette.

We used to flip them but that will probably give you more drop than you are after. There used to be companies that made dropped uprights, I think Ansen for instance made them.
