Cool another chevy. Going with that big caddy engine you might want to run a set back on your firewall. I moved my 28 chevy firewall back 4 inches and barely had enough room. check out my build threads on my 27 and 28 chevys....John

    Very cool!

I am ALWAYS amazed at the talent that dwells on this forum. Great work so far. It's threads like this that get me fired up and off my duff to get out and work on my own 32 Chevy. Subscribing for sure!

I thought an update is in order. I'll be starting a "Build" Thread if I can figure it out. Today I was able to remove all four doors and most of the rusted out flooring. So sad how this beautiful girl was mistreated, but then again that's another story.

Finally got back on this. Got the frame about 80% finished. Also finally put my gantry crane back together so I can do stuff on my own. Tacked the front axle together do once I get the frame under the car I can mock up track width.

Welcome to the HAMB! A lot of guys here like to see some intro, but not required.
You should tell us your story.
I hope you scrap that front axle.

  9. It's been over 4 years since "Screw Shiny" posted on this thread. I gotta wonder how the car is coming along.

Thank you my names adam and I'm 27 yrs old and I'm from massachusettes. I've always been fascinated with cars because of my father who is a die hard chevy man. I spent many hours watching him fix everyone else's car in the neighborhood and apparently it rubbed off on me. Now that I'm older I have a bug to build my own car. There's nothing better to me than seeing a classic/antique car on the road. Anyone can go buy a car but very few can say they built there own. So before years fly by I figured it would be a great bonding/ Learning experience for my dad and I.

  11. Nice front axle..... for a rr.
I hope he ditched that thing.

apparently the car was sold to someone in Connecticut and that's where I got it from. The front axle was scraped and it came with a new speedway dropped axle. Not much more was Done to it since his last post. I'll have to take some pics so everyone can see what I'm working winnb
