Old Racing Pictures Needing Information

I've had these photos for a while now and was wondering if anyone on the HAMB can identify what year and where these pictures were taken. I know that the second picture was taken at Irwindale and that both pictures were possibly taken in 1967-68, but beyond that, I'm lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Dane you might try posting the pics on the Classic Funny Car board also, more than a few of the guys on there knew your Grandfather , Tim Jones

 

or the "Drag cars in motion" thread that's here on the HAMB.....think Royal Shifter out of Cali started it....

 

Hey Dane, did Sush ever live in or near Arleta CA?I think I found one of his old cars. A T bucket he sold 40-50 years ago.

 

Thanks guys. I was thinking of adding them to the other thread, but figured they might get lost with some of the other cool pictures. I don't think he ever lived in Arleta or owned a T, but I could be wrong. Do you have any other info on it?

 

Well I owned and ran the Beaver Hunter at the same time what is it you would like to know? Your pop was one hell of a driver and a lot of fun to be around. This maybe late 66 right after they put the blower on. Joe Thomas

It's hard to say but it just might be the Old San Gabriel strip just before it closed
