Fantastic! This car just keeps getting nicer & nicer! I think this will be the nicest full custom shoebox built recently, I just love the detail and that steering column & wheel is a work of art in itself...cant wait for paint!!

Just read it all and was blown away. As for the critics on the rear window.....

ITS A KUSTOM! That means its His idea of what its supposed to look like. He gets to change the lines, the windows, and anything else from stock to what HE wants. Otherwise its a STOCK looking car.

I don't say much anymore, but every now and then somebody pushes the ole stupid switch and I get myself into it again..

I love the car. Its going to be something that will turn heads and keep people standing around it for hours looking for another detail that will inspire their rides..
    Great job.

Can't remember if there was a final decision made on colors, but are the wheel spokes, towels, and tint on the glass a not-so-subtle hint?

Ive just been through few of the last dozen pages that i missed.....the details on this car are amazing, the chrome dash is from another planet, and that column with THAT wheel...im in awe.
Seriously, this type of build is what keeps me on point and makes me wanna step up my game, even if in a totally diffrent area of "style", it doesnt matter, good inspiration can come from anywhere, and this is good inspiration both for execution and for STYLE.
This car= SFM (Style For Miles) 8D

Aw man, I know how you must feel Skip, I remember when the coupe got it's last coat of primer, my fingers were bloody by the end of the day but when that first coat of paint went on I forgot all about them, I can hardly wait to see it in color.:)

There was a hint that some color might go in the door jams today? I am using my knuckles on the keyboard I have no more fingers.

    The individual details are beautiful
and when all put together will
    be amazing.

WILL BE??? Hell, I think it passed epic status about 75 pages back, then took epic, ran it over and crapped on it. What's 17 steps beyond epic? This car is whatever that word is!

This and the "Tyler Durben" Carson top build are my favorite build EVER on here, and I have a LOT of favorite build threads! Interesting that they're both shoeboxes, huh?

I picked up the front bumper today. Would love to see Tyler's and mine in the same picture?

That would be great! Too bad he didn't wait to make his cross country trip until yours was done! Sheesh, a little coordination would have been nice, LOL.

His is up for sale. Who knows, maybe it will make it back to the west coast.
